How AI Styling Works
The steps behind turning a photo into outfit recommendations, without the marketing gloss.

Step 1: Photo Analysis
A vision model examines the uploaded photo to identify measurable traits - body shape and proportions, face shape, and skin undertone. This step produces structured data, not just a general impression.
Step 2: Applying Styling Logic
That data feeds into styling rules - which silhouettes flatter which body shapes, which colours suit which undertones, which necklines work with which face shapes. This is where genuine styling knowledge, not just pattern matching, makes the difference.
Step 3: Matching to Real Products
The styling concept then needs to become an actual, buyable outfit - searching real product listings for items that fit the concept, the requested occasion, and the chosen price range.
Step 4: Generating a Visual Preview
Finally, an image generation model renders what the outfit actually looks like on the person - not a mockup, but a photorealistic result using their own photo.
Why the Order Matters
Each step depends on getting the one before it right - a weak photo analysis produces mismatched recommendations no matter how good the later steps are. This is why photo quality and analysis depth matter more than any single flashy feature.
